Our Story
The Gera Story
Coffee was born in Ethiopia, and Gera carries that heritage forward. We are built on a simple belief — that great coffee is defined by quality, traceability, and the character of its origin. Gera brings carefully selected Ethiopian coffees, grown in the country's most celebrated highland regions, to cups at home and around the world. Every batch is chosen with intention and traced to where it was grown.
Our Coffee — Gera G2, Single-Origin Yirgacheffe
The Gera we bring to Bangladesh is our G2: single-origin Arabica from Yirgacheffe, one of Ethiopia's most renowned coffee regions. It is a rich, fruity cup — ripe blueberry and strawberry, soft floral undertones and a smooth, chocolatey body — finishing with a lingering, sweet, jam-like aftertaste. Carefully selected, fully traceable, and roasted fresh in small batches.
How It Is Made
Our beans are hand-selected at origin and graded for quality before they ever reach the roaster. Ethiopian coffees like ours are washed and sun-dried with patience to protect their natural sweetness and clarity. We then roast in small batches and seal each bag at the peak of freshness, so the coffee that reaches your cup is as alive as the day it left the roastery.
How to Brew
Drip packs. Tear open the sachet, hang it over your cup, and slowly pour hot water — around 90 to 94°C — over the grounds. In two to three minutes you will have a clean, cafe-quality cup, with no machine and no fuss.
Ground & whole bean. Brew it the way you love — pour-over, French press, or moka pot. For the freshest flavour, grind whole beans just before brewing and store them sealed, away from light and heat.
